Atlantic General Hospital Inclement Weather Policy Lifted

BERLIN, Md. – Atlantic General Hospital has lifted their Inclement Weather Policy.

The Atlantic ImmediCare office located in the Rite Aid in Millsboro, DE and the Atlantic ImmediCare office located in Ocean Pines are open

All Atlantic General Health System offices and the Atlantic General Health Center will remain closed today. All offices will open on schedule tomorrow.

All Outpatient Services are open, this includes:
o Elective surgical procedures scheduled
o Atlantic Endoscopy Center
o Eunice Q. Sorin Women's Diagnostic Center
o Outpatient Infusion Center
o Sleep Disorders Diagnostic Center
o Wound Care Center, Inc.
o Diabetes Outpatient Education Program
o Radiology and Imaging Services
o Outpatient Diagnostics & Lab


People with special needs requiring shelter or assistance should contact the Worcester County Health department at 410-632-1100 and then press 8.

Delaware Public Health has also opened two Medical Needs Shelters, William Penn and Cape Henlopen High Schools.
