DELMAR, Md. - The Amphitheater at Heron Ponds in Delmar is hosting two huge concert events, this weekend.
On Friday night, Eve 6, Kingsfoil, and Everclear will be rocking out. WMDT got an exclusive interview with the lead singer and guitarist for Everclear, Art Alexakis, and Frankie Muniz, the drummer of Kingsfoil.
Alexakis shared some details about Everclear's latest album "Invisible Stars" and his favorite song from it called "Tiger In A Burning Tree." He says it's a dark song describing someone at the end of their rope.
"If you're a tiger, you're full of life, full of control and power. When you're full of power and life and you come to an edge when you have nowhere to go and nothing to do, that's you get the idea to be a tiger in a burning tree," said Alexakis.
Frankie Muniz's band Kingsfoil are the opening act, and play pop/rock songs. Frankie is known for his role in the hit sitcom Malcom In The Middle, but he's had quite a career change.
"It's something I always wanted to do my entire life, and to have the opportunity, I love it. I love the band and we're having a blast. It's everything I've ever wanted, it's awesome," said Muniz.
WMDT is still offering discounted tickets to Friday's concert, and the Kellie Pickler concert on Saturday. Go to our home page and click on the Big Deal Icon.
