Second Arrest Made In Cambridge Armed Home Invasion

Posted: Updated:

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Police have made a second arrest in connection with an armed home invasion that happened last week in Cambridge. Police say that their investigation lead them to arrest, Devon Jones, 25, of Cambridge.

He is charged with a slew of charges, including: armed robbery, robbery, 1st and 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment, and 1st, 3rd, and 4th degree burglary. Jones is being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center on $1,000,000 bond.

According to Cambridge Police, around 11:45 PM on Friday, October 19th, three armed gunmen forced their way into a Phillips Street home. Once inside, police say that the gunmen forced the victims to the ground, pistol whipped one in the head, then ransacked the home, and apparently fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The victim was treated and released from PRMC.

Police arrested Marcus Griffin, 28, of Cambridge, earlier in the week, in connection with the same crime.
