Operation We Care Collecting Donations For Servicemen

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Operation We Care needs your help.

They're preparing to send 400 care packages to our servicemen next month and are still collecting donations. Items are collected from a half-dozen different local businesses sponsoring drop off locations on Delmarva. This Saturday there will be two donation drives in Salisbury - one at Walmart and one at Giant Food.

"The boxes that we send are a huge morale boost because they don't know when they're coming, they don't know who they're from. So when you're halfway around the world, and you get a box full of stuff from somebody you don't know, it definitely takes your morale up a couple notches," organizer Jeff Merritt said.
