Del. Residents To Be Honored With Service Award

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware Gov. Jack Markell is honoring 31 state residents and groups with a volunteer service award.
    
Markell will present the Governor's Outstanding Volunteer Service Awards on Thursday at Dover Downs. This year's recipients are being honored for a variety of activities including protecting the environment and improving education.
    
More than 400 people are expected to attend the event, which begins at 5 p.m.
