SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury area drivers should take note of a road closing that could effect their daily drive for the next few weeks.
Starting on Monday, October 29th, the Maryland State Highway Administration will close the intersection of West Isabella Street and Mill Street. Crews will be installing drainage pipe under the railroad crossing on West Isabella Street. The road will remain closed for three weeks, but during that time, there will still be access to businesses and homes on Isabella Street.
SHA says that the whole project will continue for 18 months, with intermittent closures. Included in the project are West Isabella Street, Park Avenue and William Street, and along both sides of US 13 Business to north of London Avenue.
