Consumers Spooked Into Spending More On Halloween

WMDT 47 NEWS - Whether you're spending it at a fun attraction, or on a costume, experts say more Americans are shelling out cash for Halloween.

The average American will spend $80 on the spooky holiday this year, that's up 10 percent from last year. The National Retail Federation breaks it down for us. They say we'll spend an average of $28 on costumes, almost $24 for decorations and about $23 for candy.
