Georgetown Sex Offender Wanted By DSP

GEORGETOWN, Del. - Police are looking for a Georgetown sex offender after he apparently failed to register his address.

Delaware State Police are searching for 40-year-old William Banks, who they say is a moderate risk sex offender. Police say that Banks hasn't verified his address with the DSP Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit. He is required by law to notify them of his status.

Banks is described as a 5' 10" tall, black man, weighting 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police say that he could be in the West Rehoboth area. Anyone with information on Bank's whereabouts is asked to call Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or text DSP to CRIMES (274637).
