Delaware State Police Looking for Suspect in Attempted Break-In

SMYRNA, Del. - The Delaware State Police asking the public's assistance in attempting to identify a subject who attempted to break into a local business.

On October 15th around 3:25 AM a black male subject was caught on surveillance cameras attempting to break into Fairway Inn located on South DuPont Boulevard south of Smyrna.  The suspect reportedly climbed onto the second floor roof and attempted to gain entry through a window without success and then fled the area to the north.

If anyone has any information on incident, they are asked to contact Det. Doherty at 302-741-2817 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
