SALISBURY, Md. - Two instant polls conducted after the final presidential debate placed President Obama in the winner's circle.
According to a CBS news poll, respondents ruled in favor of Obama over Romney, 53% to 23%, with 24% saying it was a tie. In a CNN poll, 48% said they favored Obama, compared with 40% for Romney.
WMDT spoke with some young local voters who weighed in on the race so far.
"I think Romney might have the upper hand with the economic side, but I think Obama is kind of the upper hand with foreign policy just by the way he was speaking yesterday," senior Victoria Handlin said. "I think President Obama - by the way that he - he just seemed very well put together and always had a quick response to it. and was also very charismatic and personable," junior Caitlin Ratzlaff said. "After the second debate, I was leaning more towards Obama. But after this one, I'm for sure going to vote for Obama," junior Jose La Madrid said.
