WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. - Now let's get back to those ballot questions for Wicomico County.
We told you about two of them last week, and now we're filling you in on the last two. One is pretty self-explanatory. The county council would like to extend the time for filling a position from 30 days to 45 days, if there are three or fewer spots open.
The last question you'll see is about the budget. Right now, the county council can hold a public hearing about it, but can only cut from it not add anything to it.
"This amendment would give a guarantee that the public would have an opportunity to explain to the county executive, what they feel is important in the budget," said Matthew Creamer, County Administrator.
Don't forget, Wicomico County residents can vote early starting this Saturday, at the civic center in Salisbury. Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
