UPDATE: Large Brush Fire In Eden Now Under Control

EDEN, Md. - A large brush fire in Eden kept eight different fire companies pretty busy.

It happened just off Route 13 near Flower Hill Church Road and Jones Road. Fruitland fire officials told WMDT everything is now under control. Flames scorched nearly 10 acres of land. Firefighters got a handle on the situation before the fire spread to nearby homes.  There were no reports of any injuries.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
