Information Sought On Smyrna Attempted Robbery Suspect

SMYRNA, Del. - Police are looking to identify a man who allegedly tried to break into a local business.

Delaware State Police say that on October 15th around 3:25 AM, the man, pictured here to the right, attempted to break into the Fairway Inn on South DuPont Boulevard in Smyrna. They say that the suspect climbed onto the roof and tried to get in through a 2nd floor window. He reportedly fled after not being able to get in.

The man is described as a 22-32-year-old, 5' 10" - 6' 3" tall, black man, weighting between 170 and 200 pounds. He was reportedly last seen wearing a long sleeve black t-shirt, black pants, wire rim glasses, and sneakers. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or text DSP to CRIMES (274637).
