RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Republican Mitt Romney will see President Barack Obama a Thursday campaign event in Richmond and raise him with three Virginia rallies in the state's most populous regions on Sunday.
Obama comes to Richmond on Thursday for a rally in a city park. That same day, Romney's vice presidential running mate, Paul Ryan, plans stops in Bristol and Charlottesville. It's part of a two-day, six-state "America Forward" swing.
On Sunday, Romney plans a noon rally in Haymarket in Prince William County, a 4:15 event at the University of Richmond and closes the day with a rally at the Farm Bureau Amphitheater in Virginia Beach.
Polls show Virginia among the last handful of states where the election is a toss-up.
