SALISBURY, Md. - Monday, October 22nd marks the final Presidential Debate of this political season, and while the debate may focus on foreign policy, we hit the streets to see what locals would like to hear from the candidates during the showdown.
A definite hot button issue will be the attacks in Benghazi. One local man would like to hear more about what led up to the attacks in the Libyan city saying
"The first thing we have is the Benghazi deal where the truth never came out and it still hasn't come out properly."
And a local mother, Billie Taylor, looks forward to hearing about the President's positive history with foreign relations. She thinks sometimes people forget Obama's successes, saying "I mean in that area -- he's basically overlooked because, he's don a lot"
But not everyone is sold on either candidate. Salisbury University student Megan Fiia will be watching to find "the lesser of two evils unfortunately. I mean, I'm not seeing the best of either of them at the moment."
While locals are interested in how we can help other nations, they say taking care of home should be top priority.
She said "just trying to see how we can help in foreign issues but at the same time -- bring the help home because people here need it too because it starts here, it doesn't start over there. "
