Daniel J. Henry, Sr.

MILLSBORO, Del. - Daniel J. Henry, Sr.  of Millsboro, DE passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012. He was 63 years old. Mr. Henry was born on December 23, 1948 to the late Leroy Henry and Lois Resides. He worked as a roofer and was a member of Local 30 Roofers Union. He was a Vietnam Veteran and recipient of a Purple Heart and Bronze Star.  

He is survived by his beloved wife  of  forty years, Mary Ellen Thurston Henry of Millsboro; Step Mother, Mary Henry; daughter, Melissa Mellace and husband Frank; daughter, Kelly Woolson and husband Dave; son, Daniel J. Henry, Jr., and wife Jenn; five sisters and one brother, and 11 grandchildren.  

A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE  19966, where friends may call after 11:00 A.M. Burial will be private. Letters of condolence may be emailed via Watson Funeral Home's website.
