SALISBURY, Md. - October 19th, art and music took over Downtown Salisbury for 3rd Friday's final outdoor event for the year, RocktoberFest!
With Halloween less than two weeks away, there were also some holiday-themed activities, art exhibits and even a pumpkin carving contest.
This may be the last outdoor 3rd Friday of the year, but it's not the last you'll see of some of the vendors.
Photographer, David Insley, appreciates the fact that Third Friday is "giving [him] the chance to be down here and the exposure for everybody down here, it's an awesome opportunity." And the move indoors won't stop him from coming out, saying "I plan on being here through the winter, I've even changed my schedule at work to do it."
Third Friday's will be moving indoors for the colder season to the Vernon Powell Building. And As always, Third Friday is free and starts at 5 pm.
