Posted: Updated:

KENT CO., Del. - Police are advising residents of one local county to lock up their vehicles. Delaware State Police say that over the last month, they have investigated thefts from more than a dozen locations in Central and Eastern Kent County. They say that the items, that range from stereo equipment, GPS systems, and money, were taken out of unlocked cars, mostly parked in the victim's driveways. They reportedly have no suspects in the incidents.

Police give the following tips to avoid being a victim:
· Lock your car doors and roll up you windows
· Do not leave valuables inside your vehicle
· Leave outdoor lights on in the driveway or have security lighting installed
· Report any suspicious activity to 9-1-1

Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to call Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, or text DSP to 274637 (CRMES).
