SALISBURY, Md. - Warren Allen Morris, Sr., 69, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, October 9th, 2012 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Luther William Morris and Doris Ethel Littleton Morris. He was a US Army veteran and worked for 33 years at Crown, Cork and Seal in Fruitland, retiring in 1999 as Head Master Mechanic. He was an avid Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens and NASCAR fan.
He is survived by a son, Warren A. Morris, Jr. of Salisbury; 2 daughters, Valerie L. Lowe and her husband, Gary of McDonough, GA and Sonya G. Corbin of Sylva, NC; 2 grandchildren, Whitney E. Morris and Hannah N. Coggins, both of Sylva, NC; a great grandson, Colton D. Broom; 4 brothers, Wayne L. Morris and his wife, Juanita of Quantico, Ronnie W. A. Morris and his wife, Eleanor of Parsonsburg, Richard N. Morris of Hebron and Roland E. Morris and his wife, Delores of Salisbury; and the mother of his children, Dorothy Faye Hall Mauch of Hendersonville, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean C. Joudrey. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13th, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Keith Myer will officiate.
