Lincoln Woman Accused Of Assaulting An Officer

Posted: Updated:

MILFORD, Del. - A woman was arrested after she allegedly resisted arrest. Milford Police say that a woman, later identified as Sarah Wilson, 21, of Lincoln, was yelling and cursing in the parking lot of Valley Run Apartments. They say that she was intoxicated, and officers gave Wilson orders, but she wouldn't follow them.

Police say that she physically resisted and assaulted an officer numerous times, and tried to flee on foot. Officers say they were eventually able to subdue her and take her into custody. Once at the station, she reportedly refused to give her fingerprints.

Wilson was charged with offensive touching of a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, felony refusal to submit to fingerprints/photos, and disorderly conduct. The officer was not injured in the incident. She is being held at WCI on $1750 bond.
