Save Delmarva Public Radio Speaks Out

SALISBURY, Md. - Local supporters announce a new campaign, which they hope will save a local radio station.

It's called "Save Delmarva Public Radio Incorporated" which opposes Salisbury University's foundation and its plans, which include possibly out-sourcing the station. The group's spokesperson, Joel Roache, is a long time listener and he tells WMDT he wants to get the word out about the organization saying, "We are not sponsored by the station. We are not sponsored by the university, we are not sponsored by the foundation."

Save DPR will host a public information meeting at the Summers Gate Clubhouse Sunday at 7:30 PM.
