Seaford Couple Charged In 5 Burglaries

SEAFORD, Del. - Police have arrested two Seaford residents, in connection with 5 local burglaries. Delaware State Police and Seaford Police have been working together, looking into several daytime burglaries in the Seaford area. They have made two arrests, Richard Aiken, 48, and Brandy Johnson, 31, both of Seaford.

According to Police between September 9th, and September 16th, Aiken and Johnson forced their way into unoccupied houses during the day, and left with jewelry, coins, and electronic devices. They then reportedly sold the stolen property to a local pawn shop.

Aiken and Johnson have both been charged with 2nd degree burglary, theft, and other related offences. Johnson is being held at Delores J. Baylor Women's Correctional Institution on $5,500 bond. Aiken is being held on $158,500 bond at Sussex Correctional Institution.
