SALISBURY, Md. - A local museum is hosting a series of unique workshops. The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art and Salisbury University's Glass Program, are teaming up to hold a series of Hot Glass Workshops. Each session of the workshop will give a short orientation to the technique of glass blowing, and time to work on the participants piece. Each workshop will have a its own project.
On October 19th, participants will make a glass flower. On November 2nd, attendees can make a glass paperweight. On November 16th, participants can create a glass float. These workshops will be from 4 PM until 6 PM and cost $70 for members and $85 for non-members, per workshop.
On December 8th, attendees can start holiday decorating early, after making an ornament ball. The workshop, will be from 10 AM until noon, and 1 PM until 6 PM, with each session running for 1 hour. Cost for the ornament ball workshop is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Workshops will be held at the Salisbury University Hot Glass Facility. Registration is required for each session.
