Attempted Murder Trial Begins For Marcus Smiley

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man's fate hangs in the balance as he faces attempted murder charges in Wicomico County.

53-year-old Marcus Smiley's trial began Tuesday. Police say last December he shot 31-year-old Travis Green until there were no bullets left in the gun. Green ran into his home on Dennis Street. Then, cops say Smiley kept shooting at the house.

Three people were inside the home at the time but were not injured. The trial will resume Wednesday morning.
