SALISBURY, Md. - Maryland's Comptroller is on a so-called "tour of truth," spreading the word about the state's economy.
Peter Franchot made a stop in Wicomico County on Tuesday at the Pepsi Plant. This is the ninth location on his statewide "Economic Truth Tour." He spoke on a number of topics dealing with the state's financial issues and possible solutions.
"The real problem in Maryland is the private sector. Until we squarely face that and understand that we need to have a much better relationship with the private sector, we're not going to have the economic recovery that we're all expecting," he said.
Franchot's next stop is in Charles County and St. Mary's County this coming Thursday.
