Salisbury Man Sentenced To 40 Years For Rape

WICOMICO CO., Md. - A Salisbury man has been sentenced after being convicted of incest.

On Tuesday morning, Wilner Moncher, 35, of Salisbury, was sentenced to 65 years, with 25 of those suspended. Meaning that he should serve 40 years behind bars, followed by three years supervised probation after release. Moncher will also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Moncher was convicted in July on 2 counts of 2nd degree rape, sexual abuse of a minor, and incest of a 12-year-old girl.
