Police Searching For Rehoboth Assault Suspect

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Police are looking to identify a man in connection with a reported August assault.

Rehoboth Beach Police Department says that the assault, where the male suspect hit the male victim in the neck, and then fled, occurred at the Purple Parrot Restaurant around midnight on August 19th. The victim was treated and later released from Beebe Hospital.

The suspect, seen here to the right, in surveillance footage, is described as a white male, between 20 and 25-years-old, weighting somewhere between 150 and 175 pounds, with short brown hair. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sullivan at 302-227-2577.
