Man Behind 2009 Murder Is Caught

MAGNOLIA, Del. -- It's been three years since the murder of a Seaford man, now one of the men involved in his death is in police custody.

Delaware State Police have arrested and charged 21 year old Jermaine Zachary with attempted robbery and 2nd degree murder.

Back in 2009, Zachary allegedly assisted in the shooting death of 40 year old Robert Watkins.

Jermaine M. Zachary was picked up Monday afternoon when he reported to his probation officer in Dover.  He was arraigned and committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $302,000.00 cash only bond.

The man who shot the gun that killed Watkins is still at large. If anyone has any information on the second subject they are asked to call Delaware crime stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
