Over $10K Worth Of Property Stolen In Easton

EASTON, Md. - An Easton storage space on Brookletts Avenue has been broken into. According to the police report, a single unit had several items removed. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at over $10,000. 

The victim tells police the last time he saw his belongings was September 19th. The victims wife says when she went to the storage unit September 25th, the items were missing. According to the police investigation, there were not signs of forced entry, not was there much evidence.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating the stolen property and for any information about who may be responsible. Some of the missing items include:

10 piece multi-colored Fiesta ware
(3) 19th century stoneware crocks
Surveyor's equipment
Austrian pitcher
Life size carving of a seagull on piling
(6) Boxes of wooden Barkley collection keepsake box kicks
(7) Armand Carney decoys
(6) Ward Brothers prints
(2) Theatre masks, circa 1800
19th century portraits
(6) Assorted 19th century Shukker dogs
19th century Wedgewood sauce boat with underplate
(2) Japanese vases
Several reference books
