Authorities Investigate Rehoboth Beach Fire

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - The investigation continues into the afternoon fire that caused about $6,000 worth of damage to a Norwood Street home. According to the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office, the blaze began Monday just after noon. They say the single wide mobile home had heavy blames when they arrived. Investigators say the fire started in the back bedroom from a kerosene heater malfunction. The home was occupied at the time however no injuries were reported. We're told the home did not have working smoke detectors. The family is being assisted by the Red Cross.
