SALISBURY, Md. - A Parsonsburg man was arrested in connection with a July burglary. The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office has been investigating a burglary, where an Xbox and video games were reportedly stolen, that happened on July 18th on Carey Avenue in Salisbury.
During the investigation police say that they discovered that Ernie Ennis, 33, had pawned the items at a Salisbury pawn store. The deputy says that Ennis knew that the victim was out of town, went into the unlocked home, and took the Xbox. Police clarified that even thought the house was unlocked, Ennis was not an invited guest.
Ennis was arrested on Thursday, and charged with 3rd and 4th degree burglary, along with theft. He is being held at the Detention Center on $15,000 bond.
