SALISBURY, Md. - Rosaleen Pifer Booth, 90 of Salisbury, died Thursday, October 4, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Booth in 1985. Known to many as "Shorty", she was a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a life member of the Junior Board and Plus Volunteers at PRMC. She was an avid golfer and an ardent volunteer of Coastal Hospice and the Wicomico Library. Among Shorty's hobbies was needlepoint, where she contributed many hours of stitching Ecclesiastical kneelers for several local churches.
Surviving are three sons: W. Edwin Booth and wife Janet, Scott C. Booth and wife Deborah and Craig T. Booth and wife Nancie all of the area; six grandchildren: Todd T. Booth and wife Rosa of Santa Barbara, CA, Ryan E. Booth of San Francisco, CA, Jenna Booth Bowne and husband Ben of Savannah, GA, Kyle Booth Mills and husband, Daniel of USAF Wichita, KA, Natalie T. Booth of Salisbury and Shanna Young Thomson and husband, Cameron of Charleston, SC; and five great-grandchildren: Skyler Tilghman Booth, Madeleine Revelle Thomson, Jack Tyler Bowne, Sydney Rose Mills and Harper Leigh Mills.
A private interment will take place in Parsons Cemetery followed by a memorial service at Trinity United Methodist Church, Rt. 50 & N. Division St., on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 11 am. The Rev. George Patterson will officiate.
