Apple Dessert Baking Contest Seeks Entries

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. - The 20th annual Apple Scrapple Festival kicks off this weekend in Bridgeville.

This year, organizers are bringing back an old favorite -- the Apple Dessert Baking Contest. There's three categories -- teen, adult and professional.  Entries have to use fresh apples and the recipe has to be submitted so that winning recipes can be shared with the public so they can try their hand at the dessert at home.  Winners go home with cash prizes.

If you want to sign up, you have until this Wednesday, October 10th to do so.
