WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. - An update on the success of those speed cameras in Wicomico County.

The Sheriff's office released new numbers, showing just how many violators they caught in school zones. The first week of school, they gave out the most tickets, amounting to 175. That momentum followed for the next few weeks. However, the numbers were the lowest the first few weeks the cameras were implemented. Since they have been in place, a total of 680 people were issued a 40 dollar fine.
