Navy Extends Comment Period For Wallops Residents

WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. - Wallops Island residents: there's still time to let your voices be heard about the possibility of the Navy increasing flights in the area.

That's because they extended the commentary period for the Environmental Assessment, an additional two weeks to October 19th.  Naval officials tell us the extension won't change the overall timetable.    

A final decision is set for January.
