OCEAN CITY, Md. - WMDT spoke with businesses to see how well they did this season.
Sean Donovan, head supervisor of Trimper's Rides tells us this season has been the best in the last 5 years, especially with Hurricane Irene putting a damper on things last year. He tells us the bike and car show events have been extremely helpful in stretching out the summer.
"That's a huge help in the shoulder season. These events going on brings a lot of people in and the weather was very good, so it's been very successful and that's been a lot of help to us. Our numbers have been up and crowds have been very good throughout the summer. The weather's been a huge help in that respect," he said.
Trimper's Rides will continue to open on weekends throughout the fall.
