PRMC Works Out The Kinks In Drive Thru Flu Clinic

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - PRMC's Drive Thru Flu Clinic was quite a success on Thursday.

Hundreds drove up, stuck their arm out and drove off. It's that simple. PRMC has been doing this for 18 years now. It's free and all they ask for is a $10 donation. If you're thinking, the line is probably too long to wait in, you're wrong. Officials say they've worked out the kinks to make it more efficient.

"Sometimes we get a little backed up. It might be 10 or 15 minutes when we're really super busy but we've kinda got it down. You may have a couple cars ahead of you, but it's not like the long lines we used to have," said Karen Mikalik, Infection Preventionist.

You still have time to get that shot. On Friday,PRMC will be at Perdue Stadium again from 10 to 6, but remember, you must be at least 13 years of age.
