Dewey Beach Going Pink To Raise Cancer Awareness

DEWEY BEACH, Del. - Dewey Beach is going pink to raise breast cancer awareness.

The Starboard Restaurant & Bar is hosting the Second Annual Dewey Goes Pink 5K Run/Walk and 1.5 Mile Walk this weekend.  The event will be held in memory of Barbara Montgomery, the restaurant owner's mother, and will benefit the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

A special Pink Party will follow the Run/Walk with a pig roast BBQ and refreshments.  The race will be held on October 6th. Registration opens at 10:30AM and the race begins at noon.
