Silva
Pollar
SALISBURY, Md. - A local sheriff's office has arrested a man that they've been looking for, for nearly two years. The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office received information about William Silva's whereabouts, after he was recently featured on WMDT's Fugitive Friday.
They say that the information brought them to a home on Lake Street. When a deputy arrived, Danielle Pollar, 28, answered the door and reportedly told the deputy that Silva wasn't there. The deputy says that Pollar told them that Silva was in Baltimore and hadn't been back in over a year. The deputy didn't believe the story, and when they went into the house, found Silva and arrested him.
Silva was wanted in a possession of a handgun case, where he was originally arrested in October of 2010. He was charged with failure to appear, and is being held without bond at the Detention Center.
Pollar was also arrested and charged with hindering and obstructing, along with false statement to a law enforcement officer. She is being held at the Detention Center on $3,000.
