Large Drug Bust In Camden Lands One Behind Bars

CAMDEN, Del. - Police have wrapped up a three month long drug investigation, with an arrest. According to Delaware State Police, they were investigating the illegal sale of cocaine, which lead them to search a home on Cataldi Lane in Camden.

Inside, they say, they found Anthony Jones, 38, who, when he was taken into custody, reportedly gave a fake name. Police say that when they searched the room, where they found Jones, they also found a fully loaded handgun on the floor.

During the search, officials also reportedly found more than 7 grams of heroin, 11 grams of power cocaine, almost 4 grams of crack cocaine, and more than 6 grams of marijuana, along with other drug paraphernalia.

Jones was arrested, charged with a slew of offences including, delivery of a controlled substance - heroin, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a firearm by a person prohibited. He is being held on $64,000 bond at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center.
