Voter Registration Deadlines Are Approaching Quickly

WMDT 47 NEWS - A reminder, the deadline to register to vote for the 2012 general elections is coming up. You have until 9 PM on Tuesday, October 16th to register, update address information, and request a new polling place. Applications can also be hand-delivered or mailed.

Voters who are already registered can verify their voter registration status on the Maryland Elections website.

The Presidential General Election is Tuesday November 6th, but you don't have to wait until then to vote. Early voting is available starting the second Saturday for the election through the Thursday before the election.

You can find information about early voting locations and hours on the Maryland Elections website. Call 1-800-222-VOTE (8683) for more information on voting.
