Worcester County Helps Smokers Quit

WORCESTER CO., Md. - The Worcester County Health Department is offering free smoking cessation group class throughtout the county beginnning in October.  Classes will be helad at the following locations:

  • Atlantic General Hospital (Tuesday from noon to 1PM)
  • Berlin Health Center (Tuesdays from 5PM to 6PM)
  • Pocomoke Health Center (Thursdays from 5PM to 6PM)

 

Instructors will teach step-by-step methods for quitting and changing behavior. A registered dietitian will teach participants how to reduce weight gain when quitting smoking.
