Millsboro, Del. - It didn't take long for police in Delaware to find and arrest a homeless man they say robbed another man at gunpoint while he was pumping gas.
The robbery happened Saturday night at the BP station on Long Neck Road.
Troopers say 32-year-old Gary Laskowski walked up to the man demanded money but when the victim told him he didn't have any Laskowski went through the man's pockets and took some cash.
According to police, he then, fled in an SUV but was quickly pulled over. He now faces a number of charges including
Robbery in the 1st degree, possession of a deadly weapon during
the commission of a felony, possession of a deadly weapon by person prohibited, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, 2 counts of reckless endangering in the 1st degree, delivery of a hypodermic needle, tampering with physical evidence, theft under $1,500.00.
He is currently being held at Sussex Correctional
Institution on $78,500.00 cash bond.
