Roadwork in Easton

Posted: Updated:

Easton, Md. - Starting on October 1st, the Town of Easton and David A. Bramble, Inc. will be removing and replacing the surface of Goldborough Street from Harrison Street to Aurora Street.  the pavement and road base are in failing condition due to the poor underlying soil conditions and increasing traffic.

There will be street and lane closures during the project, and detour routes will be established and posted.  There will be electronic message boards on US Rt. 50/Ocean Gateway as well as at or near the Farmers Market parking lot, with detour instructions.  On-street parking will not be permitted during the project duration which is estimated at 45 days, weather permitting.  Emergency access will be coordinated between the contractor and the Talbot County Emergency Management Center.

If you have any questions, please contact Brian Hause at 410-822-2525 ext. 138.
