Seven Arrests Made Related To Lincoln Home Invasion

LINCOLN, Del. - Police have caught the five men and two women who they believe were involved in a Lincoln home invasion on Monday. Around 2:45 AM, a 48-year-old man heard knocking at his door, when he opened it, according to the press release, two men, John Bramble, 23, of Laurel, and Jason Lineweaver, 18, of Seaford, confronted him, and started beating him up.

Police say that they even used a stun gun to incapacitate the victim and then tied him up. The suspects then reportedly stole several guns and other belongings, before getting into a car driven by, Ashley Wyre, 21, of Seaford. The victim was able to run to a neighbor's house to get help. As the police investigated the incident, they arrested Bramble, Lineweaver, and Wyre, and found 14 stolen guns at Wyre's home.

Police say that there were still unaccounted for guns. Upon further investigation, they found out that the suspects sold guns to Jamar Thompson, 23, of Laurel, for drugs. Police searched the home of Thompson's cousin, where they say he lived. At Ariel Thompson's, home on King Road in Seaford, they reportedly found ten bundles of suspected heroin, a total of 3.25 grams, but no weapons and arrested Ariel Thompson.

Jamar Thompson was not at the home during this time. Police discovered he was at the Quality Inn Hotel in Seaford. There they arrested Thompson along with Orrin Johnson, 27, of Millsboro, and Tredevon Purnell, 31, of Seaford.

Police say that in the three rooms that the men had rented they found, three handguns, and 2.7 grams of cocaine. Police found the last 5 of the missing guns in a wooded area off King Road near Seaford.

John Bramble, Jason Lineweaver, and Ashley Wyre, are all charged with 1st degree robbery, 1st degree assault, home invasion, theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, and other related offences. They are all being held on $27,600 bond.

Ariel Thompson was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, maintaining a drug property, and other related offences. She is being held at Delores J. Baylor Women's Correctional Institution on $15,500 bond.

Jamar Thompson was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance - cocaine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, 4 counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, and 8 counts of receiving a stolen firearm. He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $74,100 bond.

Tredevon Purnell and Orrin Johnson were both charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance - cocaine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and other related offences. They are both being held on $45,100 bail at Sussex Correctional Institution.
