SEAFORD, Del. - An update on that large warehouse fire that broke out Wednesday, causing $200,000 in damages.
WMDT went back on scene Thursday and caught up with the resident renting the storage facility, Tawn Beard. He says he was using the building to house large kitchen appliances for his commercial business. He tells us his loss is insurmountable, especially the personal items that are now burned to shreds.
"We've lost a lot of memorabilia in the back room, my wife's wedding dress, gowns, just a lot of antiques were missing or gone. Eventually I was going to open up an antique restaurant with antique equipment, which is now all gone," said Beard.
Because of the methods used to put out the fire, Beard says investigators may have difficulty sifting through the debris, to find a cause.
