GEORGETOWN, Del. - A man has been arrested, and charged in connection with 8 residential burglaries in Sussex County. Delaware State Police say that the incidents happened during the second half of August.
Their month long investigation lead to the arrest of 24-year-old Frankford resident, William Tingle. He now faced a total of 34 charges related to 2nd degree burglary and theft. Police say that from August 13th until August 30th, Tingle went into houses, where the families weren't home, and stole belongings like jewelry and firearms.
The burglaries are still being investigated, but officials say that currently, Tingle is being charged in relation to 1 Frankford, 3 Selbyville, and 4 Dagsboro, burglaries. Tingle is being held at Sussex Correction Institution on $9,200 bond.
