Carvel Gardens Prepares New Security Measures

LAUREL, Del. - After many years of criminal activity and violence, it looks like Carvel Gardens in Laurel will be taking some steps to not only improve the appearance, but also the safety of the apartment complex.

Darlene Warner, president of Stevens Management Corporation, the company that owns Carvel Gardens, said they will be installing surveillance cameras, getting rid of common stair-wells, and building private entrances in an effort to curb the crime.
