Berlin Man Dead After Single Car Collision

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. - The morning of September 22nd, a Berlin man was pronounced dead on the scene after a single car collision.

Saturday morning around 5:00 am, Maryland State Police responded to a call Mount Hermon Road and Laws Road in Wicomico County where they say a 2007 Nissan Frontier pick-up truck veered off Mount Hermon Road and struck a tree head on.

Due to his severe injuries, the driver, Cody Arron Tobias, was pronounced dead.

The investigation is still in progress and police won't know if there were any substances in Tobias' system that might have played a role in the incident until the toxicology report comes back.
