SALISBURY, Md. - We're told the first ever "Sing To Make A Wish" concert was a success this past weekend with more than 350 people in attendance.
150 performers from local schools, theatres, religious organizations and professional singers came together to raise money for the children in our community with life-threatening medical conditions.
Approximately $2,500 will go directly to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
"We had many people from our community who are suffering from any chronic illnesses as young children. We want to make sure that we are able to take care of them as a community because we know that they're going to reach out and say, hello, we care about them," Director John David Maybury said.
